Our church is a branch of The Mother Church, The First
Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston,
Massachusetts. Our pastors are the Bible and the textbook, Science and Health
with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, discoverer of Christian Science and founder of the Church.
Sunday services are a time to hear readings from the Bible and textbook, join in prayer, and sing hymns. Our
Sunday School (at the same time as the Church service) welcomes all young people up to the age of 20. From the Scriptures
and Science and Health they learn how God heals sickness, sin and lack through prayer.
An inspirational meeting is held every Wednesday evening with selections from the Bible and Science and Health
that address current issues and needs. Also included are prayer and the singing of hymns. Those attending are invited to share
remarks and experiences of spiritual healing resulting from prayer.
At the Reading Room you are invited to spend time reading, studying or meditating. A free lending library is
stocked with Bibles and with books and other literature published by the Christian Science Publishing Society, including the
Bound Volumes and the Christian Science Monitor, a world renowned newspaper and winner of six Pulitzer prizes. A computer
is available for research using Concord and Found Volumes.
The Reading Room is closed on national holidays.
A warm welcome is extended to all.
