Christian Science
Christian Science is based upon the healing truth Christ
Jesus preached and practiced.
Over a century ago, Mary Baker Eddy experienced a remarkable
physical healing while reading an account of one of Jesus' healing works in the Bible. Afterward, she continued to study the Bible diligently, in order to understand how her healing was accomplished, and rediscovered the healing mission of Jesus' ministry.
She named her discovery Christian Science, and established the Mother Church The
First Church of Christ, Scientist, in
Boston Ma.
This church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Carmichael is a branch of that church, and is a part of its world-wide movement.

You are warmly invited to attend our Sunday Service, which begins At 10:00 A.M. It
consists mainly of a sermon read from the Bible and our textbook,
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. In 1895 Mrs.Eddy ordained these books as the only pastor of the Church of Christ, Scientist.
Our Wednesday Testimony Meeting is conducted at 7:30 P.M. It includes readings from the Bible and Science
& Health and a period to
share testimonies of healing or remarks on Christian Science.
Sunday School is conducted at 10:A.M. and is open to young people up to the age of 20. Students are taught the Ten Commandments, the Lords Prayer,
the Beatitudes, and other concepts outlined in the weekly Bible Lesson and how they can be applied in every day living.
